LSI Software along with Microsoft wishes to present you how to surpass competition by implementing cutting-edge IT solutions. We wish to offer you a chance to familiarize yourself with the most recent and modern solutions created in that sector.

LSI Software S.A. is a leading manufacturer of software for retail sector (retail) as well as gastronomic and hotel services (hospitality). LSI Software has been a long-standing partner to Microsoft (Microsoft Gold Certified Partner) and Wincor Nixdorf and is an exclusive distributor of Long Range Systems, Sable Corporation, Logic Controls i Nuvo Technologies in Poland. The cooperation grants the company an access to world's newest, high-end technologies.

Many of the products created by LSI Software have been awarded a number of prestigious prizes such as the Gold Medal at Poznan International Fair for POSitive Retail, a management system for sale chains and the Polish Ministry of Economy Award in 2006 for POSitive Hospitality, a management system for restaurants and gastronomic facilities. The company was awarded the price again in 2007 for The Integrated System for Production Support and Restaurant Data Transmission.

Since its beginnings in 1991, LSI Software has become an important and recognizable provider of IT solutions with over a hundred customers in all part of Poland. The company made its debut on Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2006 and in February, it took control over the Softech Company and became its owner, which made LSI Software the largest software provider for gastronomy and hotel services in Poland.

2. Microsoft

Microsoft – a brand name, familiar to anyone at least slightly interested in computers, which arouses various emotions but does not leave you indifferent.

Microsoft is one of few companies which have influenced the development of the modern world and the popularization of the 'IT 'civilization' to such extent. For over 30 years, the company has been a trail blazer for technological solutions and an example of unparalleled success in the IT sector.

When two classmates, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, started Microsoft in 1975, it was impossible to imagine 'their child' would become the second most profitable company on the market, highly acclaimed in the world. A company which employs over 70 000 people and devotes 7 million dollars a year for R&D operations.

The MS-DOS operating system became a milestone for the company's success and was used by the first personal computer presented by IBM in 1981. Despite strong competition among IT solutions manufacturers, Microsoft has maintained a strong position since, along with its products as one of the most popular systems among customers – from DOS system to up-to-date Windows version. In 1990s, the company's offer was supplemented by Office, Internet Explorer browser, programming languages, specialized software for companies and many other products that have become popular and are used all over the world, including Poland.
