LSI Software in the finals of the Modern Technologies Leader contest

LSI Software, for the second time in a row, reached the final stage of the Modern Technologies Leader contest, organized by the Modern Technologies Institute. The contest is open for all companies utilizing new technologies and innovative solutions.

LSI Software has undertaken innovative actions for many years. These are:

• our own research and development operations focused on IT solutions for the hospitality (catering & hotel) market and for the retail market – in particular for the clothing shop chains, and
• improving the existing solutions based  on our own concepts and requirements reported by the customers.

In 2006 the direct outlay for the research and development of the new products from LSI Software exceeded 1.7 million PLN, which was more than 25% of company revenues. This year, the company plans to increase its R&D expenses by 40%. This locates LSI Software in the first line of the most innovative companies contributing to the creation and development of new technologies in our country.
