The POS terminal display informs your customer what he is purchasing at that moment and for what price. The display decreases the number of complaints, as the customer is always univocally informed about his purchases. The display can also be used to give messages to your customers, e.g. "Have a nice day" - depending on the defined settings.
Significance
The POS terminal displays are different than the displays used in fiscal printers. If a text appears on the fiscal printer display, it means that an appropriate item is printed in the fiscal cash-desk receipt. In the catering sector this is impractical, as the customers often change their mind during ordering. POS displays remove this problem, as they collaborate directly with the system and present the item chosen by the ordering customer before it is itemized on the bill.
