All of our applications are based on the latest technologies from Microsoft. As an authorized Microsoft partner, LSI Software S.A. has a certified programming staff, able to fully utilize  the MS Windows system mechanism and MS SQL database mechanisms. It improves the operation of our programs and guarantees a high flexibility of data exchange, both inside the system and with external applications, therefore constituting an integrated operating environment.

LSI Software and Microsoft

Microsoft is the biggest global software manufacturer. Collaboration between LSI Software and Microsoft is based on Gold Certified Partner agreement. The LSI Software team includes experts holding the MCP title (Microsoft Certified Professional), specialized in the use of MS Windows Server system environments and MS SQL Server database environments. The experts have access to the same tools and resources as Microsoft engineers. We have access to training and technical support, and therefore we can enjoy all the latest achievements of this producer. This has a significant impact for the highest quality of the services provided for our customers.

LSI Software has the status of Independent Software Vendor (ISV), guaranteeing additional rights in Microsoft software distribution. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases can be started together with LSI Software applications under very profitable conditions.

Tailored solutions

In smaller installations, we utilize the network mechanisms of the operating system and free versions of MS SQL, therefore significantly reducing the system implementation costs. In bigger deployments, we optimally select both the hardware (server) and the licensing version for network and database handling – to guarantee the efficient system operation for many years to come.

Efficient and secure systems

For the efficient operation of our application in the sales points  (sales module cooperating with administrative module) , one machine with Celeron 1.2 GHz procesor, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB hard disc space, Windows 2000/XP/Vista operating system and data archiving device is sufficient. For the purposes of sales chain management (central module exchanging information with individual outlets), it will be necessary to use a database server. The server configuration strongly depends on the size of the sales chain  and the number of transactions. The minimal requirements are: server with Intel Pentium processor (minimum 2.3 GHz), 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended), 80 GB free hard disc space, Windows Server, MS SQL Server in Standard or Enterprise version and data archiving device.

Troublefree network operation

For the efficient management of data exchange between the individual network objects and the central unit, the data replication mechanism is used. For security purposes, connections with outlets should be executed in VPN (Virtual Private Network) environment. In order to transmit the information packages in a correct manner, the central station must have a dedicated trunk of capacity of at least 1Mb/s. For the data transmission from/to shops, a permanent or wireless (EDGE, UMTS) Internet connection is required, respectively: for offline work mode (packages transmitted periodically, e.g. once per day) - minimum 128 kb/s, for online work mode (permanent data exchange) - minimum 240 kb/s.
